About Max Coale
Dr. Max Coale is a foot and ankle surgeon whose practice spans trauma, degenerative conditions, total ankle replacement, and minimally invasive corrective procedures. After studying ecology and evolutionary biology at Princeton and earning his medical degree at the University of Maryland, he completed orthopaedic residency at the University of Washington's Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, serving as chief resident. He then trained in foot and ankle reconstruction at the Institute for Foot and Ankle Reconstruction at Mercy Medical Center in Baltimore. He is a recipient of the Thomas E. Gillespie Award for Excellence in Orthopaedics.
