“I highly recommend Dr. Sharif. He was extremely knowledgeable, thorough, and genuinely concerned about my pain and overall well-being. What impressed me most was that he took the time to carefully familiarize himself with my recent medical reports from another hospital network before making his assessment. I never felt rushed or dismissed. Dr. Sharif listened attentively, addressed my concerns, and made me feel that my symptoms and experience truly mattered. His professionalism, compassion, and commitment to understanding the complete picture of my health gave me confidence in his care. I am very grateful for the time and attention he provided and would highly recommend him to anyone seeking an orthopedic specialist who truly listens and cares about his patients.”

“This is what I needed . Courtesy and efficient and left with exactly what I wanted going in thete”
Verified patient · about Michelle Pipta, PA -
Rated 2 out of 5
“I found NP Pipta ran all over the place with her recommendations, twice contradicting herself and once engaging in a totally irrelevant line of thought. She proposed a cortisone shot in the sacroiliac joint 2 months out from hip surgery without getting approval from the hip surgeon. I called back and asked for that from a tech. They called back and said it was approved by the PA for the hip surgeon. No discussion with me about possible consequences. I remain doubtful this is a good course of action as I've had many cortisone shots this year which leads to immune suppression. I do not want to get an infection in the hip because of a shot in the sacroiliac region. I will talk to the hip doctor.”

How these ratings work
-
Verified patients only
Every rating and comment comes from a patient who saw the provider, as Luminis Health states for these same ratings on luminishealth.org. Unlike open review sites, no one else can post one.
-
What the stars mean
Ratings run from 1 to 5 stars. The number shown is the provider's overall rating as NRC Health calculates it, and the bars show the share of ratings at each star level.
-
Positive and negative
Luminis Health says it posts both positive and negative comments, and leaves out any with private health information or vulgar or libelous content. Comments are anonymous.
-
At least 30 ratings
A provider's rating appears once they have 30 or more ratings, the rule Luminis Health states for luminishealth.org, so some of our providers don't show ratings yet.
NRC Health publishes these ratings for Luminis Health; they are the ones on each provider's luminishealth.org profile. We check NRC Health for updates every week. Our home page and Center of Excellence pages feature a few 5-star comments, chosen each week; this page and each provider's page show the most recent comments, whatever their rating.
